In this session, we will define the purpose and differentiate between development and performance conversations. Participants will identify how development conversations can sometimes turn into a performance conversation, and the effects of it to both the employee and the leader.

Having Development Conversations

In this session, we will discuss how to have a development conversation by defining and challenging your motives, using the conversation flow method and the Losada Ratio principles.

Avoiding Common Pitfalls

In this session, we will identify some common pitfalls that lead to having poorly executed development conversations. Participants will also recognize the role and importance of documentation.
