Effective presentation skills are important for both individual and organizational success. Presenting information clearly and effectively is a key skill to communicating your message. Presentations are required in almost every field. They are used to inform, educate, motivate, and persuade internal and external audiences. A well-crafted presentation also demonstrates professionalism and helps to reinforce an organization’s corporate image.
In this course, we will explore designing and storyboarding and how they can help develop the content for a presentation. Participants will also learn how to deliver an effective and powerful presentation.

Designing and Storyboarding the Message
- January 18, 2024
- In this session, we will define storyboarding, recognize its importance in business, and examine the science behind it. We will also explore the SCR Model and discover methods to assess the needs of the audience. We will then dive into the storyboarding process and learn how to put it to good use.
Developing the Content
- January 25, 2024
- This session explores the ideal presentation types as well as the 1-4-6 guideline for presentations. We will also examine how to use and balance images in your presentation.
Delivering the Presentation
- February 1, 2024
- In this session, we will learn to implement the golden rules of presentation, identify presentation tips that will help you deliver an excellent presentation, and explore how to read the positive and negative cues from the audience. Finally, we will explore how to set the objectives for your presentation, various questioning techniques, and the best methods for handling hostile questions.
