Course description
Finding and recognizing your purpose gives direction to your life and helps you to focus on the things that are important to you. Your purpose is comprised of your values (who you are), vision (your definition of what a good job looks like for you) and mission (how you accomplish your vision). In this course, we will explore the process of finding our purpose in life and identifying our personal values. Participants will learn to employ a four-step approach to write their vision statement, enabling them to pursue and accomplish their mission.

Determine your vision statement based on your values.
Relate your vision statement to your mission so you can put your values, vision, and mission into action.

Finding Your Purpose
In this module, participants will define their personal values, explore why finding their purpose is so important, and learn how personal values represent them.

Personal Vision Statement
Your vision statement is a reflection of the values you have and how you want to show those values to others. In this module, we will explore vision statements and the four steps that need to be followed to write your own personal vision statement.
- 03
Your Mission
Your mission describes how you want to accomplish your vision. In this module, we will explore how to proceed with your vision and put it into action. We will also examine how to adjust your mission as needed, while still aligning to your vision statement as you progress in life.
