Frequently asked questions

What is analytical thinking and why does it matter for managers?

It is working through a problem systematically using evidence rather than gut feel. The course teaches a six-step process so decisions hold up under scrutiny.

What are the steps in the analytical thinking process taught here?

Six steps: framing the issue, identifying the data, collecting it, analyzing it, sharing the analysis, and applying it. The course covers the first three, then the last three.

What is the difference between analytical thinking and critical thinking?

Analytical thinking breaks a problem into parts and works through evidence step by step, while critical thinking evaluates and questions those conclusions. This course focuses on the structured, evidence-first side.

Who should take analytical thinking training?

Any professional at any level who wants to make clearer, evidence-based decisions, not only senior managers.

How long does it take and how is it run?

Three weekly live sessions of about an hour each, facilitator-led, with practice applied to a real problem between sessions.
