Working in an environment with unethical behavior can have negative consequences on organizational trust, team building, communication, and morale. Sometimes individual character changes are in order, but other times a company needs to systematically change its culture.
In this course, participants will discover how to pinpoint unethical behavior, create a plan for an effective ethics policy, and deal with unethical co-workers. This will lead to building organizational trust, greater integrity when approaching problems, increased respect among workers, and it will establish standards of ethical behavior.
In this session, we will define ethics, its importance and how it impacts businesses today. We will explore the ideal ethical workplace, the benefits of an ethical environment and identify some myths about business ethics.
