Course Overview

Working in an environment with unethical behavior can have negative consequences on organizational trust, team building, communication, and morale. Sometimes individual character changes are in order, but other times a company needs to systematically change its culture.

In this course, participants will discover how to pinpoint unethical behavior, create a plan for an effective ethics policy, and deal with unethical co-workers. This will lead to building organizational trust, greater integrity when approaching problems, increased respect among workers, and it will establish standards of ethical behavior.

Completing this course will help you:

  • Define workplace ethics and common myths about business ethics
  • Recognize the decision-making process that helps create ethical best practices
  • Identify and resolve typical ethical dilemmas that will help you implement guidelines and policies for your organization

Who is the course for?

This course is ideal for managers or experienced leaders in human resource management, policy making, or corporate training roles.

Learning Path

In this session, we will define ethics, its importance and how it impacts businesses today. We will explore the ideal ethical workplace, the benefits of an ethical environment and identify some myths about business ethics.

In this session, we will examine the decision-making processes, the best ways to deal with real-life situations when unethical behavior is happening, and methods to keep yourself consistently ethical.
