Why people choose LEL for Leadership Development

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a development conversation and a performance conversation?

A performance conversation is about how someone is doing against expectations now, while a development conversation is about growing their skills and future. The course teaches how to run both and why development needs its own dedicated conversation.

How does the course help me identify what to develop in someone?

It uses a strength-based approach and the VIA Strengths assessment, so you build on what a person is naturally good at and set development goals from there.

Can I develop my team without formal HR support?

Yes. The course gives simple conversation and feedback frameworks a manager can use independently, which suits a small company without a big L&D function.

Who is it for?

Leaders who manage others and want to move from task-focused to people-focused leadership.

How long is the course?

Three weekly live sessions of about an hour each, facilitator-led, with practice between sessions.
