Frequently asked questions

What is strengths-based leadership?

It is leading by identifying and using your core strengths, and your team’s, rather than focusing mainly on fixing weaknesses. The course introduces the VIA, CAPP, and Gallup approaches to finding those strengths.

How do I find out what my strengths actually are?

The course teaches practical methods, including listening to feedback, noticing your passions, and paying attention to where you are most productive, alongside established strengths assessments.

Can you overuse a strength?

Yes. A whole session covers the overuse, underuse, and misuse of strengths and how to regulate them through self-monitoring, so a strength does not become a liability.

Who benefits from strengths-based training?

Managers, team leaders, and high-potential employees who want to lead authentically and get more from their teams.

How long is the course?

Three weekly live sessions of about an hour each, facilitator-led, with activities between sessions.
