Course Overview

Creativity and the ability to turn ideas into action are critical for standing above the rest. In this course, we will explore how innovation happens and how it moves your organization towards a more innovative-focused mindset. We will examine innovation and the creative process and then learn how to turn ideas into actions. 

Completing this course will help you:

  • Define innovation and its impact, or lack thereof on an organization
  • Identify the characteristics of creative people and the stages of the creative process
  • Explore different practices for implementing innovative ideas

Who is the course for?

This course is ideal for leaders who are responsible for bringing innovative products or solutions, leaders of innovative teams, and for any business professional who wants to be more innovative.

Learning Path

In this session, we will define innovation and its impact on an organization. We will differentiate between organizations that have great innovation and those which lack it. We will also explore some of the myths and misconceptions about innovation and identify the multiple intelligence model and its importance.

In this session, we will explore the characteristics of creative people and define the stages of the creative process, followed by an overview of innovation implementation.

Sometimes we struggle to figure out how to turn innovation through creative ideas into action. In this session, we will examine the implementation practices of innovation and why they are the most important part of the process. We will also identify the ACTION concept that helps us to put things into action effectively.
