This course strengthens your skills in the following leader behaviors:
In today’s corporate world, a basic working knowledge of financial statements and calculations is necessary to make sound decisions about all aspects of a business. In this course, you learn to quantify your department’s contribution to the organization—and your own. We will not only explore the different statements and terms needed to understand the financial health of your organization, but we will also run simulations that will help you to put these learned skills into practice.
As leaders, it is important to understand the basic concepts of financial intelligence. We will explore the use of an income statement, a balance sheet, and a cash flow statement for non-financial leaders.

This course strengthens your skills in the following leader behaviors:
It is a working grasp of the numbers that run a business: enough to read the main financial statements, understand key terms, and make sound decisions without being an accountant.
The income statement, the balance sheet, and the cash flow statement, each in its own session, plus how to read a 10-K and why ROI and return on assets matter.
Yes. It is built for leaders, managers, and business owners with limited financial training, and it uses simulations so you practice rather than just listen.
You will be able to quantify your team’s contribution, read the financial health of the business, and make and defend decisions with numbers.
Five weekly live sessions of about an hour each, facilitator-led, building from the basics to 10-K, ROI, and ROA.
